August 6, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

At the Japanese Gardens, behind the Buffalo History Museum (at 1 Museum Court in Buffalo, New York, just east of Elmwood Avenue and off of Nottingham Terrace, north of the Scajaquada Expressway, in the northwest corner of Delaware Park). • Nuclear waste pollution WNY (at West Valley, Tuskarora Reservation, the city of Niagara Falls, and more)
  • Nuclear Weapons – a danger to all besides huge waste of resources
  • Prior Free and Informed Consent – esp re nuclear
  • Indigenous invisability – poverty and land losses ignored
  • Care for Mother Earth and Creation – needed by all

Organized by the WNY Peace Center with Indigenous Women’s Initiatives, and followed on Aug 9 by an event at the Buffalo History Museum. (See separate listing)
