Co Leg vote: Advisory Com 4 Sheriff’s Dept, Old Co Hall, 4th fl

Please come out to Old County Hall (on Franklin opposite the Rath Bldg, 4th Floor) to see how our legislators vote on proposed legislation to have a professional and community Advisory Committee for the Sheriff’s Dept. Even the Sheriff admitted it was a good idea … Actually it’s more like “desperately needed.” The legislation has been changed to have the committee report directly to the County Legislature. Please come see that we get this done to start real improvements in a terribly managed department with tremendous power.
